6ES7 195-7HC00-0AX0 月球南极和背面常被视为探月科考的理想地区，比如嫦娥四号已经成功登陆了月背，未来嫦娥七号也将登陆月球南极。但由于这些地区与地面之间没有直接的可视和传输路径，因此必须要靠轨道上的中继卫星来与地面站建立通信，将数据传输回地面，这也就是嫦娥四号月球探测器为何需要鹊桥中继星的原因。

鹊桥经久耐用的原因

自2018年5月21日发射成功，6月14日进入地月拉格朗日L2点的使命轨道以来，鹊桥已经经历了3年的服役周期，这已经超过了最初设计的使用年限，那么鹊桥为何能长时间运转呢？

鹊桥基于中国空间技术研究院旗下的航天东方红卫星有限公司的CAST100小型卫星打造，太阳能电源系统采用了三结砷化镓太阳能电池，输出功率可达780W。

设计之初，为了确保鹊桥能够在太空中正常运转，工程师们在这上面花费了大量的时间。总设计师张立华提到，他们花了两年多的时间研制，在不到四个月的时间里在地面进行了1300多个小时的测试。因为在中继星运行的过程中，不仅需要抵抗辐射，还要不时经过一段长达四个多小时的阴影区，温度可至零下230摄氏度，这对以及其中的元件稳定性与可靠性来说都是极大的考验。

除此之外，在与发射器分离后，鹊桥并非直接被架设在轨道上，而是被放置在一个月球借力飞行轨道上，这也就是为何直到6月14号才进入使命轨道的原因。这么做固然会耗费一定的时间，但同时也节省了能源和燃料。在定期在轨维护后，卫星还有近8年的寿命。
